Now is the Day of Salvation

Reposted from Examiner

“For he says, “In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.”(2 Corinthians 6:2)

There are choices and decisions that need to be made swiftly. There needs to be no procrastination. It is a matter of great importance. One’s life is on the line. He or she can put other decisions off until later and decide at a more convenient time. The opportunity and chance may not come again. Life activities have a tendency to begin crowding out the most important decision. One needs to get and have a made up mind.

The Holy Bible states, “Now is the day of salvation.” Today is when the choice should be made to serve the only true and living God. God extends the only Way to Him through His only Son, Jesus Christ. The time to make this decision is now. Procrastination is a hindrance to a relationship with the Father. He is calling men, women, children, and youth to respond quickly. The time is now.

Believers in Christ Jesus have made up their minds to serve God. It is important that believers persuade others of this most important life choice. Opportunity is available while one has the breathe of life and blood flowing in their veins. Who knows the day when these will end? It is now time to act and not delay. Tell others to put off all other activities until the life choice to turn from the old sinful life to the new in Christ Jesus. This decision cannot wait.

Challenge: Believers, the time is now to pray more and ask God for the salvation of souls especially those close to you! Salvation is for today with no more delay. Be watchful and prayerful being led by the Holy Spirit! God is holding out His hands to the world!
