Lessons can be learned from Thaddaeus…

When we read our Bible, we might over look this name, but Thaddaeus was one of Jesus’ twelve disciple.

Mark 3 verse 16 to 19: Lists the disciples.

V18: “Andrew; Philip and Batholomew;Matthew and Thomas: James the son of Alphaeus, and THADDAEUS; Simon the Zealot”.

Thaddaeus {was also called Lebbaeus and Judas} seems to have been an ordinary man surrounded by great men. But He was an Apostle of Jesus, that alone set him apart for distinction himself.

Thaddaeus is only mentioned when someone says the name of all of Jesus’ disciples. He apparently did not have the personality of a Peter, or the faith of John, but Jesus used him anyway.

It is quite likely though that this is the same person as Judas son of James {not Iscariot} in Luke 6 verse 16 and Acts 1 verse 13.
